¡Hola clase!
Este semana, this week, we have worked on our letters, dialogue, and we started pronouns. We also discussed the Mexican Independence Day of September 15 and 16. To review please work on the sheet I sent home and view the following videos and websites. This way we can practice our Spanish while apart and learn more while together.
Your first video is the alphabet song. We will review this again next week.
Alphabet Song
Next we'll look at the vocabulary involved in greeting each other. As a warning: remember we discussed that in Latin America people who know each other often greet each other on the cheek. They will comment on this.
Spanish Greetings
Last we began personal pronouns. Those words that take the place of the name of people, places, or things. We will explore this more and more later, but here is a fun and short video to start learning our pronouns.
Remember, even if there is on boy in the group, ellas (they, girls) becomes ellos (they, boys or mixed). Also we skipped over that we can have nosotras (we/us, girls) if there are no boys at all to make it nosotros (we, boys or mixed.
Personal Pronouns
Remember we also have a page from class so that we can practice our greetings on paper also. Please let me know which way of reviewing you prefer. Do you like the videos? Would you like more links to websites for practicing? Do you like the worksheets? We will discuss this in class next week also.
Hasta la semana proxima,
